Everyone enjoys a better life experience influenced by Art

Today we wish to talk about why we use the headline, which is also Belle Fusion's Vision (also a shared vision of Heal Our Lives Society): "Everyone enjoys a better life influenced by art".

Yes, it is very self explanatory, but what message do we actually want to bring out?

First of all, let's discuss what is art and why art is important to us.

What Is Art?

It includes:
  • Visual arts - painting, drawing, sketching, handcrafting.
  • Performing arts - dancing, singing, playing instruments

Art is not a handicraft, it is the transmission of feeling the artist has experienced. - Leo Tolstoy
Leo Tolstay continues...

It is to evoke a feeling you had once experienced,  then, by means of movements, lines, colours, sounds, or forms expressed in words, to transmit that feeling that others may experience the same feeling--this is the activity of art.

Art is a human activity consisting of this, that one man consciously, by means of certain external signs, hands on to others, feelings he has lived through, and other people are infected by these feelings and also experience them.

And if men lacked this other capacity of being infected by art, people might be almost more savage still, and, above all, more separated from, and more hostile to, one another.

It is the unconscious interaction between artists / players and their audience.

You walk in to an open house when looking to buy a new home, you see art on the wall in the dining room and in the bedrooms. That piece of art transmits a message to your brain about this dream home. Hotels like adding a few pieces of sculptures and paintings to parallel to their 5 star enjoyable and luxury status. Starbucks adds several pieces of art to upscale their image and atmosphere. The KEG restaurants put up incredible artwork for fine dining. You bounce when hearing upbeat music. You feel emotional and touched when listening to the songs that evoke different levels of feelings.

Art is around us, everyday. Why is that? Art is not a necessity comparing to food and water and it serves no function compared to a dining table. So why is it everywhere? Why does it touch our emotion? Why has it become so essential?

  • One completion
Art is important because it completes the incomplete of our lives. It is not necessary, but it beautifies our lives, which makes it necessary. - Sherri C. -Belle Fusion

  • Revelation of the hidden truth
We all know that Art is not truth. Art is a lie that makes us realize truth - Pablo Picasso

  • Path of serenity in this chaotic world
What I dream of is an art of balance, of purity and serenity, devoid of troubling or depressing subject matter, an art which could be for every mental worker, for the businessman as well as the man of letters, for example, a soothing, calming influence on the mind, something like a good armchair which provides relaxation from physical fatigue. - Henri Matisse

It seems avoidable, yet inevitable.

The purpose of art is to reveal and release our inward significance (intangible mind and soul), not the outward appearance of things (tangible bodies).

So when we open our hearts and let art pour its strength into our lives, we start enjoying a better life experience. It starts stimulating your endorphin. It starts challenging your thoughts. The complicated layers of art creates a harmony in symphony, Along with different ideas and sources, it forms a unison.

No wonder some would even say art helps reduce blood pressure.

This is also why art is used in different forms of healing systems such as art therapy, music therapy and even comedy therapy to help people who have chronic illness or people who are suffering from anxiety or depression to relieve their pain and stress. This is the most natural way that has no side effects resulting in a very positive outcome.

Including artists themselves, that's why we want everyone of us to enjoy a better life experience influenced by art.
